For the first time in four years, the Ogden girls track team is sending an athlete to Drake Stadium for the Iowa state track and field meet! Charlie Klauenberg is that athlete as she finished first in the shot put with a throw of 37 feet and 11.5 inches, winning by 3.5 inches. On Thursday a successful track season ended for all Ogden High School athletes except for three - Andrew Stumbo, Andrew Haberer, and Blake Gregory.  Those three athletes get to continue their season this Thursday in Des Moines at the Iowa state track and field meet. The boys track team had a competitive week with conferences then hosting a home track meet.  In the conference meet at Madrid, the Ogden boys faced some stiff competition and ended up in 7th place, scoring 43 points. The boys and girls golf teams had a strong week with a big tournament and a successful triangular.  At the start of the week the boys and girls traveled to Cedar Pointe in Boone to play a triangular against Van Meter and Adair-Casey and Guthrie Center. Because of the bad weather, the Ogden high school boys track team was able to only compete in one giant meet at Gilbert High School last Monday.  There, the Ogden team competed with 16 other schools. Ogden struggled to keep up with limited participants able to make the trip because of the senior trip. That caused them to end up in 14th place...
