The Ogden girls’ team secured a second place finish at their conference meet on Monday, April 29. The girls played amongst 11 teams with 53 total golfers. OHS boys’ golf took first place in a five-team meet at Dayton on April 26. Ogden finished with an overall team score of 179, followed by SE Valley at 211; and Greene County at 221. Both the boys and girls golf teams were able to take home first place finishes after the meet against West Central Valley on April 23. The boys finished the day with an overall score of 168 while the girls scored a 229. On Monday, April 22, both teams were able to compete at Martensdale St. Mary’s, where they took home a second place finishes overall. OHS sophomore Coleten Bass competed in the Special Olympics on April 16. He won second place in the 50 meter dash, and was the champion of the tennis ball throw.
