Ogden took advantage of every opportunity in a 4-1 win over the West Central Valley Wildcats. The Bulldogs only collected 5 hits and took advantage of all them.  West Central Valley started first as Norse collected a one-out single, stole second and scored on a ground out by Drew Taylor. The Bulldogs remain above 500 with a record of 4-3 after picking up wins over Southeast Valley and South Central Calhoun in recent action. Carroll edged the Bulldogs 6-5 here Saturday. West Central Valley, Van Meter and Madrid are on the slate this week. The Dogs will be competing in the Woodward-Granger Tournament this Friday and Saturday....

The Bulldogs suffered a 2-1 loss to Humboldt Monday, May 21 to start the season. Humboldt’s Ellie Jacobson stymied the Bulldog hitters striking out 13 batters. Bulldog senior Maranda Wheelock has “punched her ticket” to state for the third consecutive time. With a score of 81 at the Regional Golf Finals last Monday at Menlo, Wheelock was named tournament medalist.
