2019 is looking good on the new and improved Ogden High School
With less than a month until school starts, renovations at the new Ogden Middle/High School are wrapping up nicely.
This year, students at the school will be greeted by a brand new entryway that features an open area for students with lots of natural light. Just inside the front doors are new offices for faculty and staff, where visitors and students running late will be able to check in with ease. For added safety, all exterior doors to the school will now be locked as soon as the tardy bell rings and anyone coming in to the school afterward will need to be admitted by office staff.
The biggest change to the building comes with the addition of the middle school wing, which will host students in grades 6-8. The wing was built to be an entirely contained unit, meaning there will be very little crossover between the middle and high school students during the day.
