3 more wins; Lady Dogs improve to 13-3

Ogden 14 - SCC 3

 

Bulldogs used another big inning Tuesday, June 16 as they cruised to a 14-3 win over South Central Calhoun. Ogden collected 11 hits and took advantage of 7 free passes for the win. Coach Mike Moses said it was a solid game. “Good pitching timely hitting and solid defense all contributed to the win.” Ogden went 14-3 in 5 innings 

The Bulldogs were led by Kennedy Kruse who yielded three runs on six hits and helped her own cause with three hits including a double. Avery Germer and Kate Christensen added two hits each and Kami Wheelock added a double. 

Ogden 9 - Guthrie Center 5

 

The Bulldogs erupted for six first inning runs then hung on for a 9-5 win over Guthrie Center Thursday, June 18. Ogden only collected 5 hits in the contest but the Tiger pitcher issued 11 free passes and Guthrie Center committed five errors. 

The Bulldogs took advantage of 5 first inning free passes to score 6 runs all with two outs in the inning. Ogden was issued five more free passes as they tallied three more times in the home half of the fifth inning for the 9-5 win. 

The Bulldogs were led by Ellee Laws with two hits. Germer added a double. 

“This win did not come easy. The bats struggled all night,” said Coach Moses. We had only 5 hits. but patience at the plate paid off. Guthrie Center’s pitcher issued 11 walks which played a big part in us scoring nine runs.”

 

Ogden 6  - Panorama 5

 

Kim Christensen’s single drove in the winning run in the 6-5 Ogden road win over Panorama Friday night.
