Beaver Creek Wind Farm community celebration Saturday, Sept. 16

MidAmerican Energy is hosting a Beaver Creek Wind Farm Community Celebration Saturday, Sept. 16 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The event will take place at the turbine site located at 55 170th Street, Ogden. (From Ogden: Take Hwy. 30 westbound. Turn right on Hwy. 169, then left on 170th Street. Follow signs on 170th Street to event location between A and B Avenue.) Learn about wind energy and the construction of the Beaver Creek wind farm. A free lunch and giveaways will be provided. Attendees can also see construction equipment and turbine components and register for free prizes. Anyone attending is asked to wear closed-toe shoes to the construction site. The event is free and open to the public.
