Believe in the Magic of Christmas

Oh what fun it’ll be to ride in a ‘two-horse open wagon?’ We may or may not have snow on the ground come Saturday, Dec. 5, but you can still enjoy a wintery ride around town. Horse drawn wagon rides by the Haglund family have become a staple of Ogden’s annual Christmas celebration. A big thank you to Clark’s Food Mart and Boehm Insurance for making this possible.

Be sure and stop by the various businesses holding open houses Saturday evening from 5 to 8 p.m. and Sunday afternoon from 2 to 5 p.m.

Festivities begin with a tree lighting ceremony and Christmas caroling at 5 p.m. under the water tower.

Of course no holiday celebration would be complete without a visit from Jolly old St. Nick. T.R. Photography will be taking Santa Claus photos at Water’s Edge Church.

In following with this year’s theme “Believe in the Magic of Christmas,” children are encouraged to come dressed in pajamas, bring their favorite blanket and snuggle up for the movie showing of “The Polar Express” at at 6:15 p.m.
