Boys lose close one against W-G; handle WCV

The Ogden boys opened up the week with a 7-8 record. They looked to improve on their record against the Woodward-Granger Hawks.  The game was a close one, but the Bulldogs came up short. Woodward Granger won by a score of 71 to 60. 

The Bulldogs were led by a huge game from Ben Heeren. Heeren who had 29 points while shooting 11 of 18 from the field. Heeren added in six rebounds. Noah Snedden shot an efficient four of seven from the field as he chipped in eight points. Charlie Lake came off the bench to score seven points. Lake went two for two from behind the arc. Griffin Diggs played an all around complete game, chipping in five points, five assists, and six rebounds. Jade Thompson added three points and had a team leading seven assists. Jacob Craven added three points and three steals.

Ogden 72 - West Central Valley 44

The Bulldogs traveled to Stuart on Friday to face the Wildcats of West Central Valley. The Wildcats came into the game with two wins on the season and the Bulldogs looked to rebound after a loss. The Bulldogs started the game strong, opening up with a 19 to 6 first quarter. The Bulldogs continued to play hard, increasing their lead, and eventually won the game 72 to 44.
