Boys play well; go 1-1 this past week

Coming into the week, the Ogden Bulldog’s record sat at six wins to seven losses. With the Lions of Des Moines Christian coming into Ogden, the Bulldogs knew they needed to play tough against one of the best teams in the conference. The Bulldogs came out hungry to upset the Lions, outscoring DMC 18 to 11 in the first period. The second and third quarters did not fare well for the Bulldogs, as the Lions outscored the local squad by 17 points. Ogden’s late push came up short, with the Lions winning 60-54. 

Ben Heeren led the Ogden Bulldogs with 19 points. Heeren added seven rebounds and three assists. Kayden Kruse chipped in nine points. Griffin Diggs added seven points and a pair of steals and assists. Noah Snedden put up six points and five rebounds. Jacob Craven, coming off the bench, scored five points and Sawyer Wagner chipped in four points and four rebounds off the bench. Jade Thompson added in three points, four assists, and four rebounds. 

Ogden 58 - Earlham 48

Coming off a close loss to Des Moines Christian, the Bulldogs traveled to Earlham to face the Cardinals. The game was a back and fourth affair. Outscoring the Cardinals by eight points in the 2nd half opened up the game and the Bulldogs won with a score of 58 to 48.
