Bringing history to life this Memorial Day

Ogden students are holding the 2nd Annual Memorial Day Service to honor those who have died from our community, civilians and veterans. It will include the flag raising by the Boy Scouts- Troop 155, a short address from Pastor Brandt, special music by OHS students, and a brief history of Ogden in the Great War. The service will be Monday, May 29, at 10 a.m. at Glenwood Cemetery.

The students have researched and put together a cemetery walk that will take place following the service. They will be dressing up and sharing the life story of the person they’ve chosen. The four people interred in Glenwood Cemetery that students will share stories of are: Dr. Orson Clark, Sr., C. Grant Good, PFC Joe Harvey (WWI), and Leonard Good.

Please join us Monday morning to remember those who have died and hear the stories of some of Ogden’s predecessors.
