Bulldogs fall to ACGC and W-G

The mid-season slump continued for the Ogden boys’ basketball team, losing West Central Conference contests to Adair-Casey/Guthrie Center, 68-50 here Tuesday (Jan. 21) and then at Woodward-Granger, 52-34 here Friday.

The Bulldogs have lost five of the past six games to stand 4-8 in the league and 6-9 overall.

SEASON SPLIT

Ogden split the home-and-away series with ACGC after winning the two team’s first meeting by one, 49-48 at Guthrie Center.

ACGC led at each of the quarter breaks and turned back the Bulldogs’ rally, outscoring the hosts 22-10 in the fourth. Ogden chopped a 15-point halftime deficit to 46-40 through three, taking the third 21-12.
