Daddy's home

SSG Paul Morgan of the 248th Aviation Support Battalion returned home and surprised his daughter Mia at school Friday afternoon, Sept. 14. Mia is a second grader at Howe Elementary School. 

Paul, his wife Heather and Mia then stopped by E.L.M. Street Preschool and surprised Mia’s little sister Maelynn.

As they departed the classroom, one youngster’s shouted comment drew a grin from SSG Morgan: “Thank you for protecting the world!” 

Morgan’s Battalion was deployed in September of 2017. For the past 12 months he has been serving in support of Operation Inherent Resolve (OIR) at Camp Buehring, Kuwait.
