Doris Winebenner

Doris (Harris) Winebrenner, 80, passed away February 22, 2025, in Des Moines. She was born March 13, 1944, to John and Mildred (Last) Harris. Doris married Clifford Winebrenner on January 6, 1967.

Doris attended schools in Beaver and Ogden. She worked as a telephone operator in Illinois and held various jobs of which being “Mom” was her favorite. She loved to crochet and cook.

Doris is survived by son David (Gail) Winebrenner and daughter Denise (Larry) Hartsook, brothers Don (Sharyn) and Dennis (Marlys) Harris, sisters-in-law Dianne Harris and Karla Walters, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Clif, grandson Todd and brother Ron.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, March 22, at the Leonard Good Community Center, 114 SW 8th St., Ogden from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. Memorials may be directed to the family. Burial will take place at a later date at the Iowa Veterans Cemetery near Van Meter, IA.
