Fire Department receives Landus “Core Grant” program

Ogden Fire Chief Rick Sturtz (Ogden Fire Chief) shares a smile with Blake Beckett (Landus Cooperative), and Luke Vonnahme from Landus Cooperative. The coop presented a grant which will allow Ogden responders to respond to accident scenes faster than ever before.

The Ogden Volunteer Fire Department has received the Landus “Core Grant” program, allowing local firefighters access to more potentially life-saving equipment.

The department plans to use this grant to assist in purchasing Vetter air-lifting bags. The inflatable bags will lift vehicles to allow responders quicker access to anyone injured.
