First place wins for both boys and girls golf teams at WCV

Both the boys and girls golf teams were able to take home first place finishes after the meet against West Central Valley on April 23. The boys finished the day with an overall score of 168 while the girls scored a 229.

Ryan Nichols was tied for medalist honors going into the last hole and was edged out by one stroke by a WCV athlete. Nichols ended the day with a 39.

Shaylie Johannsen was once again tied for runner-up medalist honors, but unfortunately lost the tiebreaker to a West Granger golfer. Johannsen finished the day with a 52.
