Flea and ticks a persistent problem for Ogden pets

Ogden-area pets have an itching problem.

According to Swiss Farm Veterinary owner, Erich Hodges, fleas and ticks have been rampant this year.

In Iowa, fleas and deer ticks alternate seasons through the year; fleas being more prevalent in spring and summer and ticks in fall and winter.
