Friday October 25th - Ogden Football

Sam Christensen threw for 225 yards and 4 touchdowns in a 47-21 win over the Madrid Tigers. Christensen also ran for 146 yards and scored two touchdowns. The Bulldog stingy defense took the ball away 4 times.

The game was set up by streaks. Tigers tried cross the Bulldogs when they tried a fake punt attempt but Bulldogs were up to the challenge and took over in good field position. Bulldogs scored first when Christensen hit Lane Sneddan on a 11 yard pass play and Griffin Diggs added the extra point for a 7-0 lead. The first quarter ended when Diggs intercepted a Colton Dean pass and raced 83 yards for the touchdown and added the extra point for a 14-0 Bulldogs lead. Bulldog defense didn’t allow the Tigers offense get any consistency. And were able open the second quarter with a 9 yard run by Christensen for a touchdown and Diggs added the extra point for a 21-0 second quarter lead.

Used big plays as Dean hit Jacob Loew on a 58 yard pass play for their score with extra point it was a 21-7 Bulldog lead. Tigers came closer as Dean connects wit Loew again on a 60 yard play and the added extra point the lead was cut to 21-14 at the halftime break.
