Full week of baseball results in four wins for the bulldogs

Ogden boy’s baseball took on the Madrid at home on Monday, June 10. With Carter Church and Dylan Elbert pitching, the Bulldogs suffered a 1-5 loss, with one run coming from senior Ben Heeren.

Undiscouraged from the day before, the boy’s went on to play West Central Valley on Tuesday, June 11. This time, they scored a win over their opponents, finishing the game 14-0 in just three innings. Nearly every player on the team scored at least one run to help elevate the ‘dogs to their win. Pitching for the day were Ben Heeren and Scott Westberg.

On Wednesday, June 13, the boy’s played for their third day in a row, this time at an away game against Boone. Here, the team experienced a one-run loss, finishing the game 2-3. Despite the loss, Head Coach Dick Smith commented that the Bulldogs had “very good energy” throughout the night, and that we were able to see very good pitching performance from Jacob Craven.
