Fun for all to be had at Seven Oaks

From skiing, snowboarding, and snow tubing in the winter, to a full service river float business in the summer, at Seven Oaks, they do just a little bit of everything. The small-time ski resort is a familiar sight to regular travelers of Highway 30, but it’s even more unique than one might originally think.

As one of only three ski resorts in all of Iowa, they might not have much as far as local competition, but competing with ‘ski states’ like Colorado and Utah can prove to be a challenge.

While the landscape certainly differs in comparison, what they lack in vertical feet they make up for with personability. At Seven Oaks, their vision is based on elevating their guest satisfaction through superior customer service, and creating an environment where all are welcome.

“We never pretend to be something we aren’t,” said Joel Bryan, Vice President and co-owner of the resort. “While we might not have the vertical some of the bigger resorts in other states have, we focus a lot on making what we do have the best it can be.”
