Fundraiser to be held for Skinner Family

The Ogden community is joining together in support of one of its tiniest members. Baby Elliana Skinner was born with pulmonary hypertension on Nov. 7, 2019, and has a long road ahead of her as she’s in need of a double lung transplant.

Elliana is the daughter of Ogden high school and middle school math teacher Andrew Skinner and his wife Brittany.

The community is invited to join the fight for Elliana from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 23 at Zion Lutheran Church. A meal of steak sandwiches, hash brown potato casserole, baked beans, relish tray, dessert bar and drinks will be served. There will be a freewill offering that will go toward the family’s expenses. Many people are coming together to help make this event possible.

“I feel like the baby needs a chance,” said OHS sophomore Reagan Kruse, who helped organize the event. “It would really help the Skinner family out.”
