Girls softball picks up three more wins

Ogden girls won three games on the week and lost one. 

Ogden’s two home runs weren’t enough Monday, June 12  as Ogden fell 8-2 to Interstate 35. The Bulldogs were held to just 2 hits while striking out 11 times. With Ogden trailing in the home half of the second inning, Ellee Laws homered to left centerfield. Ogden tied it in the fourth when Meredith Adreon homered to dead center field. I-35 scored in each if the last three innings for the final. 

Ogden vs. WC Valley

June 13th Ogden erupted for 12 runs in the fourth inning as they rolled past West Central Valley 19-0 last Tuesday. Bulldogs collected 14 hits. 

The Bulldogs entered the second in a scoreless tie when Laws highlighted a 5 run inning with a triple. Ogden added two more in the third when a Wildcat fielding error allowed Laws to reach base and Denali Loecker made them pay with a homer to right center. The Bulldogs sent 18 batters to the plate in a 12-run outburst in the 4th to put the game away. 

Ogden was led by Laws with three hits including a double and a triple. Adreon added three hits including a double and D. Loecker added three hits including a home run. Kim Christensen added two hits. Kennedy Kruse pitched four innings allowing no runs on one hit.
