Girls win nail biter over Van Meter

The Ogden girls team resumed action after a 2-0 week and looked to make it three in a row as they traveled to Van Meter on Tuesday. The game came down to the wire. The Lady Bulldogs played strong late and won the game with a score of 42 to 28 extending their win streak to three games and improving their record to 4-5.

Ogden was led by Ashton Boggess and Meredith Adreon as they combined for 31 of the 42 points for Ogden. Ashton scored 17 points on six of 14 shooting. Meredith had 14 points on four of nine shooting, while making three shots behind the arc. Ashton added in four rebounds and Meredith had two rebounds and two assists. Gabby Ross and Allea Klauenberg had strong games on the glass. Gabby led the team with eight rebounds and Allea had seven of her own. Abby Langel chipped in four rebounds and four assists.
