Joni Ernst wins U.S. Senate seat

Results from last Tuesday’s general election indicate 59.32% of the 17,797 registered Boone County voters cast their ballots. Republican Joni Ernst was the big winner in the state of Iowa, defeating Democrat Bruce Braley for the U.S. Senate Seat. Steve King (R) was re-elected to the U.S. House of Representatives in District 4.
