Krause named elementary principal at Ogden CSD

Amy Krause will be named the next elementary principal for Ogden CSD beginning July 1, 2019. Additionally, she will serve the school district as the K-12 Director of Curriculum and Special Programs.

Superintendent Dr. Pam Dodge worked with the elementary faculty and current administrative team to identify key leadership attributes desired in the next administrative leader.

Mrs. Krause’s 19-year career as an educational leader closely matched this list. Thirty-five candidates applied for this position, and the pool was rich with talent and varying leadership experiences. Amy has been described by her peers as, “an extraordinary coach, reflective person, and a talented leader who will thrive in the role as an elementary principal and leader of curriculum”. With her balanced background in teaching special education, leadership in curriculum, and her role as an instructional coach, she will be an asset to this position.
