Lady Bulldogs get back on the winning track

The Ogden girl’s team came into the week with a 1-5 record and was in need of a win and they came out playing with a sense of urgency. Getting Abby Langel back from injury helped as the Lady Bulldogs came out and got a much needed win over Woodward-Granger. The Lady Bulldogs scrapped and fought for the 42 to 33 win.

Ogden welcomed back Junior Abby Langel and she came out playing like she missed little time. Langel led the Lady Bulldogs with 14 points on 5 of 8 shooting. After Langel, the Lady Bulldogs had a strong balanced scoring attack. Sophomore Gabby Ross had nine points, while adding in a key ten rebounds and three of them were on the offensive end. Behind Gabby, Ashton Boggess and Meredith Adreon each had seven points. Along with Ashton’s seven points, she added nine rebounds to her stats.

Both teams did not shoot very well from the field as Ogden only shot 26 percent from the field and Woodward Granger only shot 17 percent from the field. A lot of the shooting troubles for the Hawks were in part of the great defense from the Lady Bulldogs.
