Lady Bulldogs host Ogden Relays; Boys at Adel

The weather was perfect last Thursday for Ogden’s first track competition of the season. Cold rainy weather forced the cancellation of the previous two scheduled meets, one at South Hamilton and the other at Panorama.

With this being our first meet, I was very pleased with the effort the girls put in,” said Coach Dena Boyd. “Their times have improved immensely compared to last year, and we have some new freshmen who are filling in exceedingly well.

“A big highlight from the night was our distance medley team of Jenna Sheirbon, Liz Good, Kate Christensen, and Hannah Booth who came in second with a time of 4:55.54. Hannah’s anchor 800m run of 2:43 solidified our spot and showed great determination.”

For the complete story and meet results, see this week's issue of The Ogden Reporter.
