Loving the relationship with local senior citizens
Each week Beth Bolton props up her sewing machine on the table at McGraw Senior Center and pulls her current project from a tote bag resting at her feet. Today she may be shortening a pair of pants or stitching backing and binding to a quilt project that’s sat unfinished in someone’s dresser drawer for years.
What brought her to the McGraw Center? Beth, a seamstress who does most business from home (five miles north of town), expressed to a customer how she would love to get into town one day a week to drop off and pick up items and meet with clients. She was told to check out the McGraw Center as a possible meeting place.
For the complete story, see this week's issue of The Ogden Reporter.
