Maranda Wheelock qualifies for state golf

Bulldog senior Maranda Wheelock has “punched her ticket” to state for the third consecutive time. With a score of 81 at the Regional Golf Finals last Monday at Menlo, Wheelock was named tournament medalist. Panora will be hosting the girls Class 2A state meet Tuesday and Wednesday, May 29 and 80 at Lake Panorama National Golf Course. Kuemper Catholic and Roland-Story placed first and second respectively and advanced as teams from that region. Wheelock’s teammate Kayla Walker missed moving on by four strokes, carding 102.
