Maring introduces hyperbaric therapy to the community
Boone County Hospital purchased two hyperbaric chambers in July of 2014 and on August 6 expanded wound care services to include hyperbaric/oxygen therapy. Lesa Maring, Program Director of the Wound and Hyperbaric Center, has been educating the community about the benefits of this particular type of therapy and spoke before a group of more than 60 local residents at McGraw Senior Center Tuesday June 16.
The Wound and Hyperbaric Center at Boone County Hospital provides specialized treatments for chronic and non-healing wounds.
