Ogden’s Big Loser hits the halfway mark

Eight weeks down, eight weeks to go. (In my mind, I’m thinking “5 pounds down, 20 to go.”) But then I remember, I have developed healthier habits i.e. I no longer drink soda pop - a biggie for me. I am avoiding fried and breaded foods and eating more fruits and veggies. I have started to walk more, which I used to do faithfully and it had fallen off, finding too many excuses why it just wouldn’t fit into today’s schedule. 

Yes, I need to pick up the pace for the last half of the program, which culminates during Ogden’s Fun Days celebration. But then again, I’m not in it for the prize money, being healthier and feeling better are motivation enough for me.  

Ogden’s Big Loser has been an awesome program and I would highly recommend it if these leaders decide to do it again. Alison Good, Jessica Kuil and Jane Zahasky bring an energy and commitment that is uniquely from their ‘Heartland!’
