Ogden boys’ high-scoring team struggle defensively during the year

In Class 2A, only one other team scored more than Ogden boys basketball did this season.

The team put up 1745 total points and averaged 75.9 points a night.

Three times this year the Bulldogs put up over 100 points; going as high as 114 this year.

But despite the scoring clinics the team often put on, they finished with a 14-9 record. Coach David Morris knew his team had the talent to reach the State tournament. Defensively, the team couldn’t figure it out though.

It’d lead the Bulldogs to just a sixth-place finish in the West Central conference and a 14-9 overall record.
