Ogden boys golf season comes to an end

Southeast Valley and Kuemper Catholic golfers battled it out for first place at Carroll Country Club Friday, May 15 in Class 2-A Regional action. The Bulldogs, led by Hunter Longnecker, placed seventh.

Longnecker was one of three golfers to card 88 after 18 holes, and finished 14th among the field of 48  participants. Bulldog Zach Waterbury recorded a score of 98. Harry Haglund carded 101; Jade Thompson, 105; Jacob Hildreth, 113; and Seth Bishop 136.  

Bulldog golfers win at Don Williams

Ogden golfers joined up with Madrid and Woodward-Granger for a triangular meet Friday, May 8 at Don Williams Park.

“Both the boys and girls played well tonight at Don Williams,” said Bulldog Coach Randy Johnson. “Kylie Westberg led the girls and tied for first place with Woodward’s Maggie Bermel. The girls went to a two-hole play-off before Kylie edged it out for the win.”
