Ogden boys tack on five wins in a busy week of play

Ogden was held to 5 hits in a 5-1 loss to the Hawks from Woodward Granger Monday, June 19. The Hawks took advantage of Bulldog miscues to build a lead and Ogden couldn’t recover. Jacob Craven led the Bulldogs with two hits. 

Ogden vs. Woodward Academy

Last Tuesday Ogden used a combined effort and held the Knights to just one hit in an 8-1 win. Ogden collected only 4 hits but received 9 free passes on the night. Jade Thompson started the game pitching 4 hitless innings not allowing a run, striking out 4 and walking 1. Tyler Free allowed a run on 1 hit in 2 2/3 innings. Wesley Clausen cleaned it up. 

Ogden vs. Coon Rapids-Bayard

Coon Rapids took advantage of Bulldog miscues in downing Ogden 7-2 Wednesday night. Taylon Engleen pitched 4 1/3 innings allowing 6 runs but only 1 of them earned. Ogden was held to only 2 hits with Engleen and Kayden Kruse having one each.
