Ogden Community Women met Dec. 9 at the McGraw Center

Ogden Community Women met Monday, Dec. 9, 2013 at the McGraw Center. Bev Lingren catered the supper. Nicole Buford from the Iowa Donor Network gave a very informative speech and handouts to each member.

At the Jan. 13, 2014 meeting at St. John’s Catholic Church president Maggie Plahn called the meeting to order. The potato bar sign up sheet was passed around for February 2.

Many of the proceeds from this fundraiser help to provide the scholarships for Ogden students, as well as several other benefits to the community. The Water Buffaloes help by setting up the tables for this event and taking them down when we are finished. This is greatly appreciated.

The guest speaker was Keith Berg. He shared facts to have regarding investments, marketing, and stock exchange patterns.

Vonnie Doyle now has the facebook page finished for the group.

The next meeting is Monday, Feb. 10 at the McGraw Center with community service committee in charge.
