Ogden cross country competes at Humboldt and Roland-Story

After a hilly, challenging Humboldt course, the Bulldog cross country teams were excited to race on the flat course at River Bend golf course in Story City. Ogden came away with some of their best times of the season last Thursday.

The boys varsity team took third place overall. They were led by very strong races from Andrew Stumbo who placed third, and Trey Thompson who ran a new best time of 16.46 to take first place. Evan Klicker (18th) also put in a strong effort to earn a medal. Jacob Hinman was tough over the last mile and finished as Ogden’s fourth runner with Zane Buxton close behind to round out the scoring.

Blake Gregory returned from an injury with a nice race and Garrett Kahler put together his best race of the year to lead the JV.
