Ogden defeats Woodward-Granger, falls to R-S

Ogden pretty much knew what to expect from their first round opponent Woodward-Granger, a team they faced twice earlier in the season. The Bulldogs made it a clean sweep eliminating the Hawks 58-40 Monday, Feb. 16 at home to start the tournament.

“The Woodward-Granger game was a good win for our guys,” said Bulldog Coach Dave Morris. “It was neat to get everyone in a tournament game and to get back to .500.”

Ogden scored 15 in each of the first two quarters and led 30-19 at the half. They sealed the win finishing strong with 18 fourth-quarter points.
