Ogden Police Report - April 7-13, 2014

 

Monday  April 7

8:20 a.m.: Officer received a complaint reference a suspicious vehicle.

10:40 a.m.: Officer assisted a stranded motorist in the 400 block of E. Walnut St.

4:55 p.m.: Officer investigated vandalism at 237 S. 1st St.

5:10 p.m.: Officer investigated suspicious activity in the 100 block of W. Locust St.

5:40 p.m.: Officer responded to an incomplete 911 at 608 E. Walnut St.

9:40 p.m.: Officer received a complaint in reference to a loud vehicle in the 400 block of S.E. 4th St.

Tuesday, April 8

11:54 a.m.: Officer assisted Ogden First Responders at 313 N.W. 7th St.

4:45 p.m.: Officer assisted a stranded motorist.

Wednesday, April 9

8:07 a.m.: Officer assisted employee at Ogden Manor in locating a family member of a resident.

12:15 p.m.: Officer received a report of a hit and run accident that occurred in the 500 block of W. Walnut St. The officer was able to locate the vehicle that had left the scene. He did not know that he had backed into the parked vehicle.

2:39 p.m.: Officer received a complaint of juveniles riding a 4-wheeler on the road in the 500 block of S.W. 5th St. The officer spoke with the juveniles and parents and advised to stay off of the road.

8:13 p.m.: Officer responded to a complaint of burning trash. The subject was burning leaves and sticks at this time but had been burning animal waste until a neighbor complained.

8:42 p.m.: Officer stopped a subject who was driving a golf cart after dark. The officer explained the rules in regards to golf cart operation within the city limits of Ogden.

Thursday, April 10

5:30 p.m.: Officer received a complaint of dog not having water in the 200 block of S. 1st St.

Friday, April 11

3:30 a.m.: Officer received a report of an elderly female walking with a walker in the 100 block of E. Elm St. The officer notified a family member to come and pick up their mother.

3:30 p.m.: Officer received a complaint of a suspicious vehicle in an Ogden parking lot. The officer notified the complainant the name of the owner of the vehicle.

7:30 p.m.: Officer assisted Ogden Fire Department, Ogden First Responders and Boone County Ambulance with a fire involving personal injury at 1014 218th.

11:59 p.m.: Officer assisted Boone County Deputies with possible suicidal male.

Saturday, April 12

2:00 a.m.: Officer assisted Boone County Deputies with a domestic situation at 965 222nd Dr. 354.  This was a verbal argument only.

11:10 a.m.: Officer assisted subject locked out of vehicle.

1:18 p.m.: Officer assisted subject with dog that had run away.

2:25 p.m.: Doug Nebbe, owner of Bike Barn, wanted to speak with an officer about a subject that had taken a bicycle for a test ride and had been gone quite a while. The subject returned as the officer arrived.

7:20 p.m.: Officer received a report of a possible intoxicated driver at the city park. The officer checked the driver and he was not intoxicated.

8:34 p.m.: Officer assisted Ogden Fire Department with a tree that had been struck by lightning and was on fire in the 400 block of W. Cherry St.

Sunday, April 13

8:23 a.m.: Officer assisted stranded motorist.

11:24 a.m.: Officer assisted Boone Deputies with a traffic stop.

2:51 p.m.: Officer assisted subject locked out of vehicle.

3:00 p.m.: Officer responded to an incomplete 911 call from 402 N. 1st St. The resident was rewiring and had cut the phone line. Everything was fine.

4:25 p.m.: Officer responded to an incomplete 911 from 307 S.E. 4th St. This was determined to be weather-related phone issue.

These charges are merely an accusation and the defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
