Ogden students compete at Science Bowl

Congratulations to the Ogden Middle School students that competed in the Regional Middle School Science Bowl at Iowa State on February 16.

The team, made up of five eighth grade students, spent the day answering questions about biology, chemistry, earth and space, energy, mathematics, and physics in a quiz-bowl format. The students have been preparing since October.

“The kids give up all of their free time to be able to prepare for this,” said Amy Keenan, science teacher and team coach. “It’s really awesome to see them make it happen between themselves.”
