Ogden wrestling looks to future in a light year.

The Ogden Bulldogs felt the struggles of small town wrestling this year as they couldn’t find enough wrestlers to fill out the lineup.

The team finished their year with 6-19 dual record.

There were several times where the team would win the majority of the wrestled matches, but due to forfeits would still lose the meet.

Injuries only helped to exasperate the issue.

“We knew they were good dual teams,” coach Jesse Sundell said. “We tried to prepare for the kids that we did have there.”

From a coaching perspective, the only way you can handle a team that is unable to be competitive is to focus on the individual and treat their matches as their own individual job to take care of.
