Ogden's Isaac Lewiston recognized by Governor for academic excellence

Governor Kim Reynolds at Lt. Governor Adam Gregg recognized Isaac Lewiston, a senior at OHS, for outstanding academic achievement at the 17th Annual Governor’s Scholar Recognition Ceremony.

The ceremony took place at Hy-Vee Hall in Des Moines on April 28. The statewide program honored 424 high school seniors from across Iowa, which was made possible by sponsorships from the Iowa Governor’s Office, Iowa High School Athletic Association (IHSHAA), and the Iowa Farm Bureau Federation (IFBF).

“Iowa Farm Bureau members are proud that their organization showcases its commitment to youth education in many ways,” said IFBF President Craig Hill. “Our sponsorship of the Recognition Ceremony is just one way we celebrate Iowa’s exceptional high school students.”
