Director Michael Huey-Jones previews this year’s musical:

Wednesday Addams (Camryn Buxton) is growing up and she’s fallen in love with Lucas Beineke (Bryce Stevens), a nice boy from Ohio. Knowing that the families come from different worlds, Wednesday begs her parents Morticia (Courtney Paulson) and Gomez Addams (Jeffrey Chumbley) to hide their ghoulish nature and “act normal” just long enough to convince the Beineke’s (Lilly Hammer and Bryan Woodall) that she is a suitable match for their son.

Dinner with the Beineke’s goes horribly wrong when Pugsley Addams (Mason Will), intending to scare off her sister’s suitor, poison’s Mrs. Beineke’s cup by mistake, causing her to turn toward her dark nature and become more like an Addams.

Uncle Fester (CJ Buck), a hopeless romantic, convinces the ghosts of all the Addams ancestors to aid the young couple in bringing their families together by creating a storm to keep the Beineke’s from leaving. With the help of some sage wisdom from Grandma Addams (Alex Clubine) and Lurch (Sawyer Wagner) the families learn to accept each other and themselves for who they are.  With great music, dancing, lots of laughs, and just the right amount of macabre,  the Addams Family has something for everyone.  We hope to see you there!
