Our 2015 state track qualifiers

Andrew Stumbo, left, and Trey Thompson, second from left, were completely soaked by the time they crossed the finish line at Story City last Thursday. Even under miserable conditions, Thompson finished the 3200 meter run in 10:14.38 and earned a berth at the state track meet by placing second in the District meet. Both first and second place runners advance. Although Stumbo finished right at his heels, he would have to wait until late Friday night to find out his fate. His third place time of 10:14.62 was among the next eight fastest times among all Class 2A runners, therefore, he will be joining Thompson this Thursday in Des Moines. The Ogden boys will be competing at 10:10 a.m.
