The perfect barbeque is only eight steps away

The sun shines longer and the days get warmer; it’s time for one of the most beloved seasons of the year: it’s finally summer! On Friday, June 21, summer will officially begin here in the northern hemisphere. Which also means it’s time for one of the all-time greatest American traditions, the backyard barbeque!

There is truly no better way to entertain your friends and family during the summer months than with a casual get-together involving good food and great atmosphere.

Make sure your BBQ is one to remember by following these simple tips:

Keep it simple

The key to a great barbeque is to keep it casual. Don’t overcomplicate the menu, focus on a couple of solid tried-and-true recipes. Choose quality over quantity when it comes to choices, as most people are just looking for a good burger or brat anyway. Don’t forget to add in a few vegetables, such as corn on the cob or veggie skewers, or even simple salad fixings are always a safe bet.

Have a seat

There’s no need to coordinate a formal sit-down meal, however do make sure that there is adequate seating for your guests. For both hanging out and when it’s time to eat, don’t leave your guests awkwardly standing around balancing their plates.<p>
