Relay for Life set for this Friday

2017 Ambassador Ryan Bristle will be leading the Survivor Lap at Relay for Life of Boone County’s annual event Friday, June 16 at the Ogden High School track. 

Teams will camp out and participate by taking turns walking around a track or path. Symbolizing the battle waged around the clock by those facing cancer, the event empowers communities and individuals to take a stand against the disease and take action by supporting American Cancer Society’s lifesaving mission.

A Survivor social and meal begins at 5:30 p.m. An opening ceremony and Survivor/Caregiver laps are at 6:30 p.m. At 9:30 p.m. is the Luminaria Ceremony.

There will be food, activities and local entertainment all throughout the night.

Glow Run

You are asked to help light up the track for a one mile fun run Friday, June 16 at 10 p.m. at the Ogden High School track. Glow swags will be provided. Register at http://www.tinyurl.com/relayglowrun
