Repaving project gets underway

The patching and paving construction project on Hwy. 169 south of Ogden began Monday, June 25 and is expected to be completed by Friday, Aug. 31 according to the Iowa Department of Transportation that contracted with Manatt’s for the $9 million roadwork.

On Monday, July 16, the portion of Hwy. 169 from Ogden to Hwy. 141 was closed to through traffic. The DOT recommends motorists use the following detour route: Iowa Highway 141 east to Woodward, Iowa Highway 210 north to Madrid and Iowa Highway 17 north to U.S. Highway 30.
