Season winds down; Ogden will host 2A regional

In another double header, the Bulldogs took two games from AC/GC 9-1 and 6-5 here Tuesday, June 26. Meredith Adreon led the game off with a double as the Bulldogs exploded for 5 first inning runs. The big hit being a two run homer by Ashton Boggess. Boggess led the attack with three hits including a home run that drove in three runners.

Denali Loecker added two hits including a double and pitched seven strong innings, striking out 10 batters. Adreon added two hits.

In the second game Karsyn Clark doubled home Gabby Ross for the winning run in a 6-5 Bulldog win.

The Tigers struck first in the third when they took advantage of Bulldog miscues to take a 2-0 lead. Loecker got the Dogs on the board in the Ogden half of the fourth when she led off with a home run to center. A two run single by Gabby Ross gave the Bulldogs a 3-2 lead in the Bulldog half of the fifth.
