Set date for "Music Man" auditions

You’re invited to take part in a magical trip this summer to River City Iowa when Ogden Community Theatre presents, “The Music Man.” You know there is trouble there with a capital T. Harold Hill will be there along with the barbershop quartet, those pick-a-little ladies, Marion the librarian, the Wells Fargo Wagon, Amaryllis and Winthrop, and of course those 76 trombones.

Ogden Community Theatre wants you to be a part of this Iowa classic. Auditions will be held Tuesday May 30 at 7 p.m. in the Ogden High School Auditorium and music room.  Performance dates will be July 20-23.

This Ogden Community Theatre production will be co-directed by David Larsen and Michael Huey-Jones, assisted by choreographer Micki Larsen, stage director Hanna Huey-Jones, pit-band director Jeremy Britton, assistant director Susan Casey, stage manager Jan Jensen, scenic director Kara Kruse, accompanists Cathy Aldrich and David Emerson.  There are many more volunteers that will be recognized in the coming weeks.
