Softball team has 10 wins to just 5 losses

The Bulldogs exploded for 5 runs in the seventh inning in a 9-1 win over West Central Valley last Monday, June 4. The local squad pounded out 12 hits including 4 doubles in the win. Denali Loecker and Meredith Adreon combined on a five hit pitching effort. 

Ogden was led by Hannah Dutcher with three hits including two doubles. Ashton Boggess added two hits along with Amber Braniff. Jenna Palmer added a double. 

Van Meter erupted for 4 first inning runs in a 8-0 Ogden home loss Tuesday night. The opposing Bulldogs took advantage of Ogden miscues. Ogden was held to just five hits in the loss. Boggess led Ogden with a double.

In action Thursday night, Ogden split a double header with the Madrid Tigers. Winning the first game 10-1 and losing 3-1 in the night cap. 

In the first game the Bulldogs pounded out 13 hits including 7 for extra bases and two home runs. Ogden was led by Loecker with seven strong innings of pitching, allowing 1 run and scattering 5 hits. She also added a homerun driving in 4 runners. Gabby Ross added a homerun driving in two runs. Adreon had three hits including two doubles scoring two runs. Karsyn Clark added a double and Boggess added two hits including a triple. 

In the night cap Ogden was held to just 5 hits in the 3-1 loss. Adreon pitched a strong game striking out 7 batters but it wasn’t enough. The Bulldogs were led by Clark with a double.
