Three Bulldogs given end of year honors

Three Ogden boys basketball teams were named on the West Central Activities Conference all-team lists.

Senior Ben Heeran was listed on the first-team and was named to the Class 2A Sub-state category six all-team.

Heeran was second in scoring in Class 2A, averaging a class-leading 26.5 points per game.

He was second in 2A in total rebounds with 278, being second in defensive rebounds as well with 188,

Ogden girls receive all-conference honors

Three Ogden girl basketball players were named to the West Central Activities all-conference teams.

Senior Abby Langel was named to first-team as well as being named to the Iowa Girls Coaches Associations Class 2A Central All-District team.

Langel scored 252 points on the year, averaging 11.7 points per game.

She was third in the conference in three-pointers, putting up 55 this season.
