Time to clean up our town

A city-wide clean-up day is scheduled for Saturday, June 16.

Items must be set out by 6 a.m. Saturday morning. Dumpsters will be set at Ogden City Park for placement of items. (You are encouraged to drop off your items between 6 and 10 a.m.).

Following is a list of accepted and non-accepted items.

Accepted

Furniture, TVs, computers, metal, appliances. Yard debris (leaves, grass clippings, tree branches) must be delivered to the drop-off site as they will not be picking them up.

Not accepted

Tires, regular household trash, entire remodels (some construction/demolition debris is allowed), oil, paint or other hazardous waste. If any of the above items are included in your load, the entire load will be rejected.

Volunteers are being sought. Contact Tyler Wisecup (515-231-2650) or Shannon Wirtz (515-230-5503). Breakfast and lunch will be provided to the volunteers.
